Students from the Omaha Moy Yat Ving Tsun Kung Fu school traveled to the school in Iowa City for a weekend seminar conducted by Grandmaster Moy Tung. Over the course of the three-day seminar, Grandmaster Moy Tung’s “great-grand students” participated in extensive kung fu conversations, including physical training, lectures, and social events. The announced topics for Grandmaster Moy Tung’s small-group workshops included “The Art of War 101, for your Kung Fu,” “How to Create a Breakthrough, for your Kung Fu,” and “How to be a Sifu, for your Kung Fu.”
Workout With Master Moy Yat Tung
Master Moy Yat Tung visited the Omaha school again for a weekend of workouts and interaction with his “grand students.” Centerline theory—including an extensive presentation on attacking and defending the centerline—was analyzed, discussed, and practiced. Students from Detroit, MI, Iowa City, IA, Lincoln, NE, Milwaukee, WI, St. Louis, MO, and Virginia Beach, VA, also attended the weekend workout, providing an even more valuable training opportunity.
Iowa City Road Trip
Students from the Omaha Moy Yat Ving Tsun Kung Fu school visited the school in Iowa City for two days of workouts and fun. Departing on Friday, Feb. 27th, the students from Omaha worked out with the Iowa City students before going out for the evening. Saturday entailed more workout time and lunch before heading back to Omaha. By visiting and working out with students from other Moy Yat Kung Fu schools, every student’s kung fu is improved, and the understanding of the Ving Tsun system increases.

Master Moy Yat Tung visited the Omaha school for a weekend workout and interaction with his “grand students.” Kung Fu techniques—including a discussion of proper punching—were analyzed, studied, and practiced. Students from the Iowa City School also participated in the weekend, making the weekend an even more valuable training opportunity.
